Nigusu Solomon is a dedicated fitness and conditioning coach with a strong background in football and gym-based performance training. His journey into physical fitness began as a football player, where firsthand experience on the pitch shaped his understanding of players’ physical and mental demands.

Nigusu holds certifications and has completed multiple courses, with strength and flexibility training playing the most important role in shaping his coaching philosophy. His expertise focuses on conditional training, gym setup, and developing balanced programs that support football performance rather than isolate muscle groups.

Nigusu strongly believes in balanced training, where strength and endurance go hand in hand, and where gym work directly supports on-field performance. He emphasizes that there should be no separation between physical, mental, and even spiritual fitness. In his view, the most common gym mistake players make is imbalanced workouts, which he actively works to correct.

Looking ahead, his vision is bold: to create the number one multi-functional gym in Ethiopia, a space that produces athletes who are physically strong, mentally sharp, and spiritually grounded. He aims to continue improving Abyssinya FC’s fitness program by introducing smarter training structures, better gym balance, and long-term player development.
